Library Resources for Test Prep
The FHU Library has study materials for a variety of tests- PRAXIS, PRAXIS II, GRE, MAT, etc.
- We have a database called Learning Express Library. From it you can access study materials for many vocational, high school and college tests.
- The Library has many print materials for the GRE, MAT, NCLEX, PMAT, etc. Many books have full-length practice tests (with answers), sample questions with explanations, and study guides.
- Most of the PRAXIS study materials are shelved in the Learning Resource Library. Please refer to our Praxis Study Aids to see print materials available in the library and electronic resources that are available online.
- Don't forget to ask the Office of Academic Success about test prep services they provide. See Connie Pritchard or Ginger Young.
Please ask a librarian if you need help!

Retrieve a Book from Storage
Beginning in May 2014, books that were previously in the Loden-Daniel Library will be in the A/V Annex in Draughon Building or in the Lora Laycook Building. When you look up an item in the catalog, it should also give you a location. If a book is available and listed as in the A/V Annex you can go there and immediately check it out. If a book is listed as in the Laycook Building, you will need to write down the title and call number and use this form to submit a request for it: www.fhu.edu/library/storageRequest.
The book(s) will be retrieved as quickly as possible and you will be notified when it is availble for pick up in the A/V Annex.
